Many different agencies, both public and private, contribute the data
found on this site. While Florida DEP houses this information,
questions about particular data should be directed to the specific
data collection agency. The Department of Environmental Protection
(FDEP) attempts to maintain agency contact information, but cannot
guarantee the accuracy of any contact information other than FDEP's.
The Florida STORET web application is available to the public via the
Internet. Therefore, there may be times of abnormally high levels of
Internet traffic that may strain the Department's resources. In
addition, some data requests may contain millions of data records that
can strain resources, causing the site to timeout or disrupt normal
Florida DEP makes no claims on the usage of data obtained from Florida
STORET. Data may or may not be used in regulatory proceedings, or be
included in rulings such as determinations of impairment pursuant to
FDEP's Impaired Waters Rule, Chapter 62-303, F.A.C.
Any attempts to alter, change, or delete information or data provided
by this site are strictly prohibited and shall be punishable under the
Computer Fraud and Abuse Act of 1986.
